Welcome to The Paper Apothecary

This is my path into fine arts conservation.

Conservation sits at the intersection of technical skill, material science, and respect for the objects we care for. That includes paintings, works on paper, and physical objects like ceramics.

It is also a field with an increasingly narrow path in. Most training happens at the graduate level, and hands-on experience is often limited to internships, apprenticeships, and volunteer work that can be difficult to access.

This space follows how I am making my way forward.

Through independent projects, material exploration, and ongoing study, I am developing the skills needed to work across materials and object types.

Part portfolio, part record, this is a space for process, persistence, and the work behind getting there.
